5. Install and tighten the three screws at the upper
front o f the door.
Adjustm ent
1. A djust the ventilator adjusting nut by turning
clockwise to increase o p e ra tin g tension, as shown in
figure 2 D - 1 1 I .
2. A fter m aking adjustm ent bend tabs over the hex
nut.
3. Install trim panel.
4. Install d oor and window regulator handles.
DOOR W IN D O W ASSEMBLY
Replacem ent
1. Com pletely lower glass to bottom o f door.
2. Rem ove inside d oor an d window regulator
handles using Tool J-7797.
3. Remove d oor arm rest an d trim pad.
4. Mask or cover u p p e r portion o f door window
fra m e . R em ove v e n tila to r assem bly as previously
outlined.
5. Slide glass forw ard until front roller is in line
with notch in sash channel. D isengage roller from
channel. See figure 2D-1 12.
6. Push window forward and tilt front portion o f
w indow up until re a r roller is disengaged.
7. Put window assembly in norm al position (level)
and raise straight up and out.
8. Reverse above procedure for installation.
W IN D O W R E G ULATO R
R eplacem ent
1. W in d window all the way up.
2. Remove inside d o o r handles with Tool J-7797.
3. Remove door trim pad.
4. Remove screws securing regulator to inner
panel.
5. Push regulator out o f door o p ening while
holding rear o f assembly, then slide assembly to the
notches in the carrier channel and out through the door
access hole.
6. Install regulator in reverse order o f removal,
lubricate regulator gears with lubriplate or equivalent.

Removal
1. Raise window.
2. Remove inside handles with Tool J-7797.
3. Remove trim panel.
4. Remove remote control sill knob.
5. F ro m outside the door remove screws retaining
lock to door edge and lower the lock assembly.
6. Remove screws retaining remote control.
7. R em ove screws securing glass run guide
channel.
8. Remove lock, push button rod and remote
control rod as an assembly.
