NOTE : When using Smart Lemo®’s, all the above fields will usually be copied
from the Smart Lemo® - as long as ‘Config Location’ is set to ‘External’. A
channel with a Config Location of ‘External’ will appear as shown in Figure
5.74, below.

As can be seen, all settings stored to (and therefore read from) the Smart
Lemo® are identified with an asterisk (*). The Transducer Type & Variant fields
are greyed out because their selection is determined by the Transducer Type

5.8.3.
