7 Service and Calibration

7.1 Service

There are no user serviceable parts inside the instruments. Should any
difficulties be encountered in the use of the FlightDaq-TL, it is recommended
that you contact Chell Instruments Ltd for advice and instructions.

7.2 Calibration

Calibration is recommended on an annual basis and Chell Instruments Ltd.
provides a fully traceable facility for this purpose.

7.3 Adjustment

7.3.1

Changing the Power Mode of the device

Remove all fourteen screws from the baseplate using a 2.0mm hex driver.

Carefully remove the baseplate from the device to avoid damaging the gasket.

Adjust DIP switch to required settings. See table below.

Change the metal identifying tag on the side of the case to show the correct mode

(DC or PoE).

Re-insert the gasket in the correct position and screw down baseplate using the

same hardware.

Factory default procedure

Power off unit.

Change DIP switch to Factory default function (SW3 is either ON or OFF).

Power on unit.

Wait for Red/Blue LEDs to alternate flash.

Power off unit.

Change DIP switch back to normal operation settings.
