‘Transducer Variant’

Here the variant of transducer is selected (when
applicable). The options in this menu are dependent on
the ‘Transducer Type’ selected.

‘Unit String’

Here the units for the measurement can be selected. This
is a string value and as such, it is a free text field.

‘Serial’

Here the serial number of the transducer can be entered
(if applicable).

‘Chell Part Number’

Here the Chell part number of the transducer can be
entered (if applicable).

‘User Part Number’

Here the User part number of the transducer can be
entered (if applicable).

‘Primary FSV’

Here the full scale of the primary input is configured. If
you have selected a specific transducer type (such as
RTD), then these fields will be fixed. If, however, you
have selected Voltage as a ‘Transducer Type’ then the
following range options will be available.

‘Secondary FSV’

Here the full scale of the secondary input is configured. If
you have selected a specific transducer type (such as
RTD), then these fields will be fixed. If, however, you
have selected Voltage as a ‘Transducer Type’ then the
following range options will be available.

‘User Span’

Here a calibration coefficient can be entered for this
channel. The calibration takes the form of y=mx+c and
the span value corresponds to

m.

‘User Zero’

Here a calibration coefficient can be entered for this
channel. The calibration takes the form of y=mx+c and
the span value corresponds to

c.

‘Apply Settings’

Once the configuration is complete, click on apply
settings to save the configuration. The unit must be soft-
restarted to adopt these settings. If you wish all channels
to be the same, make sure that ‘Configure for all
channels’ is selected before clicking in ‘Apply Settings’
