‘NetScanner®
Emulation’
The FlightDaq-TL can emulate the TE NetScanner®
products by processing a limited number of NetScanner®
commands and providing data in the NetScanner®
format. When this function is enabled, the FlightDaq-TL
can interface with exiting NetScanner® compatible
software such as NUSS.
‘Model Emulation
String’
The is part of the NetScanner® emulation mode and
chooses what NetScanner® model the FlightDaq-TL
emulates; the 9146 temperature scanner or the 9022
pressure scanner.
‘NACK on c 00 H/W
Trigger’
As part of NetScanner® emulation mode this is a
specific setting to enable/disable the NACK
response if the hardware trigger setting is requested
as part of the c 00 command (the FlightDAQ-TL
does not support a hardware trigger).
‘Transducer Heater
Enable’
This is the function that allows the FlightDaq-TL to heat
the cold junction of an attached Smart Lemo®. The
FlightDaq-TL will apply a current to a heating resistor
adjacent to the cold junction in the Smart Lemo®. The
user can then determine the polarity of the thermocouple
by the deflection of the measured temperature (small or
no deflection for a correctly wired thermocouple).
Only one channel can be heated at any one time. Simply
select the channel that the heating is required on and
select apply. The heating supply will turn off after 15
seconds or if another channel is selected.
‘Apply’
Applies the settings to the local settings memory (soft-
reset required to adopt settings)
