namely TPR, TPRI, CP and CPI.
Enter SpO2 and Hgb
- From the Side Menu the user can manually enter the Hgb
and SPO2 through the dial box window. Following the entry of these two parameters
the system will update DO2I.
Switch Display -
this option allows the user to toggle through the different run
screens in order to view all changes in real time. Use the Switch Display option to
navigate between the Run screen, the Dashboard, the Numerical Display the Trend
Display and Protocol display screens. Additional options to switch displays are by
pressing the knob and then scrolling it, or by sliding the finger vertically on the screen.
Note
The Protocol Display screen will only be enabled in case a protocol was run
successfully during a test.
Exit -
this option navigates back to the Main Menu screen.
In order to begin monitoring a patient, open the Run screen by entering the new
patient information or by selecting an existing patient from the list that appears on the
Starling SV's Main Menu screen, then press the knob (as indicated on the screen's
menu bar's help line - see figure 2.2). In order to pause select the Pause option from
the pop-up menu. In order to completely stop the test choose the Stop option on the
Run screen's pop-up menu. A window will then emerge, state that a test is being run
and ask the user to confirm whether or not to end it. If a choice is made to stop the
test - the stop icon will replace the play icon on the run bar at the top left side of the
screen.
Note
All tests can be started and paused using the pop-up menu options.
On the lower section of the screen 3 oscillograms run during a measurement: two
ECG/time-marker channels and one Starling SV channel. In addition, numeric
display boxes appear on the top and side of the screen. During measurement the
system will display results as set up by the user.
Note
A refresh clock appears on the Run bar on all Run screens that counts the
number of cycles remaining until the results refresh and appear on the screen.
SpO2
Start/Stop SpO2 -
this option allows the user to start the SpO2 module to measure
automatically SpO2 measurements. In this working mode the SpO2 module will
continuously display SpO2 results. If Hemoglobin was entered, the Do2I shall be
calculated continuously as well at the same rate the CI is updated.
