Stand-by mode.
The dental unit goes into power saving mode (stand-by) after approximately
10 minutes of non-use; this mode is shown by an hourglass on the control
panel display.
Normal operating conditions are restored as soon as any operation is
performed.
NOTE: this default function is NOT active. It may only be activated
by an authorised CASTELLINI technician.
5.1.1.1. Operator selection
The console of SKEMA 6 model dental units allows 3 different operators
to be set.
The information given below can be set for each user:
• User name
• Adjusting the power of the turbine and scaler.
• 4 operating modes for the electric micromotor.
• Turn on and adjustment of the fi ber optics of each instrument.
• Turbine and scaler power ON/OFF or incremental control
• Automatic dental chair programs.
• Alarm threshold of LAEC electronic apex locator
User selection.
The console allows 3 different users to be selected. Each user is identifi ed
by a specifi c name that consists of up to 20 characters (see paragraph
5.1.1.2.4.)
Press the multifunction button for icon ( ) on the main screen several times
until the desired operator is reached.
NOTE: the user is changed whenever multifunction button is
pressed.
5.1.1.2. General settings
Perform the following steps from the main screen:
• Press button MENU to enter the main menu that contains the following
icons:
GENERAL
SETTINGS
DISINFECTING SYSTEM SETTINGS
HYDROGROUP
SETTINGS
• Press button MENU to scroll the icons, selecting the one for " GENERAL
SETTINGS" .
• Press multifunction button OK to enter the selected submenu that contains
the icons for the following additional submenus:
Adjusting the display brightness
Language
selection
Adjusting/engaging the pantograph arm’s brake
Entering the operator’s personal identifi cation
Chronometer
Setting the date and time
Selecting your favourite button
