5.1.1.2.6. Setting the date and time
This setting is used for all the operators.
Perform the following steps from the GENERAL SETTINGS menu:
• Press button MENU to scroll the icons and select the one for "Date and
time setting".
• Press multifunction button OK to enter the selected submenu.
• Once the date and time have been set, press function key ESC to quit the
submenu automatically saving the changes made.
How to set the time.
• Press the function key (
) to select the number to be modifi ed.
• Press buttons INCREASE and/or DECREASE to modify the number
selected.
5.1.1.2.7. Selecting your favourite button
This submenu is used to select the function to be assigned to the right
multifunction button when the main page is displayed.
This setting is used for all the operators.
Perform the following steps from the GENERAL SETTINGS menu:
• Press button MENU to scroll the icons, selecting the one for "Selecting
your favourite button”.
• Press multifunction button OK to enter the selected submenu that contains
the icons for the functions that can be selected:
AS cycle setting
TF cycle setting
Chronometer
LAEC
setting
Pantograph arm brake lock/ CART board
• Press button MENU to scroll the icons, selecting the desired function.
• To confi rm the selected function, press multifunction button ESC to quit
this submenu.
5.1.1.2.8. LAEC setting
This submenu is used to set the alarm threshold of the LAEC electronic apex
locator (see paragraph 5.11.).
Perform the following operations from the MAIN SETUP menu:
• Press button MENU to scroll the icons and select the one for "LAEC set-
tings".
• Press function key OK to open the selected submenu.
• Use the increase and/or decrease buttons to set the alarm threshold.
An orange dash on the left-hand bar graph will display the selected value.
NOTE: a value ranging from 0 to +2 can be used.
• Press function key ESC to quit this submenu and confi rm the selected
value.
• By pressing the MENU button, the alarm signal can be activated/deactivated
when the set alarm threshold is reached.
The icon of the selected mode is shown next to the MENU button:

: alarm active.
- icon
: alarm off.
