Pyxis MedStation 4000 System Console User Guide

°

Poll

—This field indicates two values. The Y or N indicates whether

polling is on or off. The numeric value is the number of seconds
between the last poll and the next poll.

°

P.Data

—Polling time interval, if there is data at the console for the

station.

°

P.Fail

—Polling time interval, if the station is not responsive to

communication (fails to communicate).

°

P.NData

—Polling time interval, if the station is communicating but

the console has no data for it.

°

L.Try

—The day and time that the device was last polled by the

console.

°

L.Link

—Last day and time that the device successfully linked with

the console.

°

FC

—This is the failure count. The number of successive times that

communication has failed between the device and the console. A high
count indicates something more than an occasional or incidental
communication failure and requires your immediate attention.

°

NoMsg

—The number of messages that the console has temporarily

stored on disk for transmission to the device. This number is normally
zero, but it might increment if overall traffic is heavy or if the stations
are offline.

°

Stat

—Indicates how many messages are in the queue which have not

cleared yet.

•

Methods

—Displays the status of the communication methods in use.

The fields are:

—Specifies which communications PC this device is

configured to communicate with.

Method

—Method type.

°

Method

—Shows specific information about the method level.
