4.6.4 Using a 216-type tool, remove the lower front base panel of the splicing end chamber (Fig. 17).
4.6.5 Remove the lag bolts from the four mounting points securing the cabinet to the pallet (Fig. 18).
Dispose of the lag bolts according to local practices. Reserve the square, flat, and lock washers
for use in pad mounting the cabinet.
Note: When cables are installed in the pad, follow the steps in Section 4.5, Preparing the
Cabinet. If cables are not to be installed yet, secure all doors before lifting the
cabinet and proceed to Section 4.7, Placing the Cabinet on Foundation Pad.
