Disclosure of Personal
Data to Authorities
BYD discloses your personal data only
insofar to third parties as this is legally
permissible or you have consented to it.
However, subject to the applicable laws,
government agencies may be authorised
to read out data from vehicles (e.g. data
can be read from the airbag control unit
to clarify an accident). If required by law
BYD may also be obliged to disclose data
upon request to governmental authorities
in your country, e.g. in the event of the
investigation of a criminal offence.
