Anti-Corrosion Measures
This vehicle has effective anti-corrosion
protection. However, in order to reduce the
risk of corrosion, the following measures
should be taken:
•
Wash the vehicle frequently. Regular
washing can keep it clean and prevent
corrosion.
»
If the vehicle runs on roads with
saline or alkali substances in winter,
or if the user lives by the sea, it is
recommended that the vehicle is
carefully cleaned once a month to
reduce corrosion.
»
Avoid connectors and electrical parts
when cleaning the vehicle chassis and
wheel casing with a high-pressure
water.
»
After winter, make sure not to leave
cleaning chemicals such as snow
melting agents on the vehicle chassis.
•
Check the body paint and decorative
parts.
»
If any fragments or cracks are found
on the paint, contact a BYD authorised
dealer or service provider for repair to
prevent corrosion.
•
Keep the vehicle interior dry.
»
Moisture and dust easily accumulate
under the carpet. Frequent checking
under the carpet is necessary to
ensure the area remains dry, clean and
corrosion free.
