WARNING!
•
Do not hang coat hangers or other
hard objects from the roof or the
roof handles. These objects may
be ejected when the side curtain
airbag deploys, causing serious and
potentially life-threatening injuries.
• Do not touch any airbag part
immediately after their deployment
to avoid scalding.
• If occupants have difficulty breathing
after airbag deployment, either open
the door or window for ventilation,
or leave the vehicle before ensuring
the environment is safe. Wash off any
residue as soon as possible to avoid
skin irritation.
CAUTION!
•
Do not hit the area where the airbag
components are located or apply
excessive force to these areas, as
doing so may cause the airbag to fail
or deploy.
• Contact a BYD authorised dealer
or service provider if any airbag is
damaged.
Front Seat Frontal Airbags
The front seat airbags are installed in the
steering wheel and dashboard panel, and
marked with the lettering "AIRBAG".
In the event of a head-on collision that
meets the necessary frontal airbag
deployment conditions, the frontal airbags
will deploy to protect the head and chest of
the occupants.
Front Seat Side Airbags
The front seat side airbags are installed on
the side of the driver and front passenger
seat backrests, and are marked with the
lettering "AIRBAG".
In the event of a side collision that meets
the necessary side airbag deployment
conditions, the side airbags will deploy to
protect the occupants.
Side Curtain Airbags
The side curtain airbags are installed on the
lower left and right edges of the roof, and
are marked with the lettering "CURTAIN
