OCKING THE VEHICLE

CAUTION!
•
Owners with cardiac pacemakers
or defibrillators should keep away
from the PEPS (Passive Entry &
Passive Start) system antenna, as the
electromagnetic waves may interfere
with such devices.
Functions of Key Buttons
Locking button
Locks the vehicle, locates the vehicle and
raises the windows.
Unlocking button
Unlocks the vehicle and lowers the
windows.
Boot lid button
Opens and closes the boot lid.
Remote start/stop button
Starts and powers off vehicle.
REMINDER
•
When the vehicle is locked and
the remote control key is within
detection range, its indicator will flash
continuously.
• The remote control key indicator
flashes when its buttons are pressed.
Mechanical Key
If the mechanical key is needed, take it out
as follows:
1. Slide the unlock clasp (1), pull the clasp
out (2) and then up (3) to separate the
bottom shell from the remote control
key.
2. Take the mechanical key out and slide up
its latch for use (refer to the Emergency
- Owner's Emergency - Emergency
Unlocking/Locking ).
