Activating TSR
When the system recognises a speed limit
sign for the current road after TSR is turned
on, the sign will be displayed on the
instrument cluster in the form of an
indicator (e.g.
). If the current vehicle
speed exceeds the speed limit by more
than 5 km/h, the indicator light will flash
reminding the driver to decelerate to a
proper speed as soon as possible.
Turning TSR Off
Pull down
Quick Settings
menu and tap
on /
> DiPilot
on the centre console
touchscreen to turn it off.
WARNING!
•
Whenever a sign has been recognised
by TSR, the TSR indicator will go out
after the vehicle has travelled for a
certain distance. Therefore, the driver
must keep the vehicle speed within a
reasonable range.
•
TSR is only used to remind
drivers of traffic signs, and is not
meant as a substitute for drivers'
judgment regarding road speed
limit information. The driver must
be fully responsible for the safety
of the vehicle under any and all
circumstances.
CAUTION!
•
TSR can be fully functional only when
speed limit signs are clearly visible.
Speed limit signs may either be
unrecognisable or misrecognised if
they:
»
do not meet regulations;
»
are decoloured, reflective, or
unclear;
»
are located on a curve;
CAUTION!
»
are erected at an improper angle;
»
are fully or partially blocked;
»
are too far away from the vehicle
or erected too high;
»
are attached to the road surface.
»
Poor visibility (e.g. rain, snow, dust,
haze, nighttime conditions).
»
Camera lenses light up by strong
light or light intensity changes
suddenly.
»
The front windscreen section
around the camera lenses is
polluted, damaged or blocked.
»
The vehicle is running too close
to a vehicle ahead, blocking the
detection of the camera.
»
The vehicle is running too slow.
Predictive Emergency
Braking System (PEBS)
PEBS includes predictive collision warning
(PCW) and automatic emergency braking
(AEB). When PEBS detects a risk of collision
with vehicles, pedestrians or other objects
ahead, it will give an audio and visual alarm
reminding the driver to take avoidance
measures. PEBS will also apply braking in
case of an emergency, and even potentially
apply AEB in the event of a severe
emergency, to assist the driver in avoiding
a collision or reducing any injury.
