Setup Guide
Each SCSI bus used to manage disks supports the connection of up to two disk cages, that
means up to six 1-inch hard disk drives.
The table which follows summarizes the possible SCSI connections inside the system unit:

Specific rules are given to make the installation and management of SCSI devices easier
and obtain the best performances.
•
Install the system disk drive in the upper slot of Area 5 of the base unit
•
Install devices beginning always
from the upper free slot inside the area
•
Within the disk configuration of Areas 3 and 2, install 18G byte disks, if any, according to
the following sequence:

A mix of media drives and hard disk drives inside the same area is not allowed.
