Setup Guide
Select ALIAS DEFINITION to list, create and/or delete a device alias. A device alias is the
short representation of a device path. The most common used devices in the system have a
predefined alias name. The following screen is displayed.

Select Alias definition:

Network boot alias
Select LIST, to list all current device aliases.
Select NEW ALIAS, to create a new alias definition. The alias name and device name are
requested.
Select DELETE ALIAS, to delete a defined device alias.
Select NETWORK BOOT ALIAS, to create or modify a network-boot alias. The following
details are requested:

Alias name
, alias name definition (by default, the alias
net
definition is displayed)

Device name
, the name of the network device (by default, the device path-name of
alias name is displayed)
•
Server IPAddr
, the IP address of the server system, where the boot file resides
•
boot-file
, the path-name of the boot file to be loaded from the server system (i.e.
/tftpboot/boot-file
)
•
Client IPAddr
, the IP address of the client system
•
GatewayIPAddr
, the IP address of the gateway
•
Netmask
, the IP netmask of the host system.
