Unpacking and Inspection

remove any protective wrapping.

NOTE:

Save the shipping crate for possible future use. If the product is returned to

Brooks for service or shipped to another location, the original shipping crate

must be used.

Remove cables, floppy disk, and manuals from the shipping box.

NOTE:

The Atmospheric Single-Arm Robot was assembled and bagged in plastic in

a cleanroom environment. To ensure the cleanliness of the product, only

unbag it in a cleanroom environment.

Ergonomic Hazard - The various Atmospheric Single-Arm Robot

models have different weights. Failure to take the proper precautions

before moving it could result in personal injury. Refer to the section

Moving the Robot or Robotic system on page 3-7

for handling the

robot.

Remove the bag from the Atmospheric Single-Arm Robot and the Smart Con-

troller and carefully inspect the product for signs of damage that may have

occurred during shipping.

Move the product to its final location.

Recycle all packaging materials.
