Nautica Configuration Wizard Reference Guide

Security Server

Once a user dials into a NAS, the information is passed to the 
security server, where confirmation of the user’s details takes 
place.

Use these parameters to specify the security server.

In the table below, click on the parameter for which you require 
further information.

 Parameter:

IP Address

 Default:

0.0.0.0

 Options:

A valid IP address

 Function:

The IP address of the security server to which 
connection requests should be diverted for 
authentication. 

A value of 0.0.0.0 disables this feature.

 Instructions:

Enter the IP address of the security server.

Note: 

In the Nautica implementation of RADIUS, the security 

server is usually the same as the accounts server.
