Nautica Configuration Wizard Reference Guide

Parameter:

Beep On Alarm

Default:

Enabled

Options:

Enabled, Disabled

Function:

Allows or disallows the audible ‘beep’ heard on an
alarm.

Instructions:

De-select this option to stop the beeping.

Parameter:

Manager Timeout (s)

Default:

300 (seconds)

Options:

A time in seconds

Function:

Sets the time a manager session (Telnet or Terminal) can
be open when using NauticaRS Router Software (BCC).

Instructions:

This option does not affect the working of Nautica
Wizard. It is only valid if you plan to use the manager
port on the back of a Nautica Marlin, Nautica 4000,
CLAM, CLAM-IP and Nautica 200, or if you Telnet to
the router. Entering a value of 0 disables the feature.

Disabled

Options:

Disabled, Enabled

Function:

Enables the Nautica Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol (DHCP) server.

Instructions:

This parameter works in conjunction with the DHCP
server commands (

help.
