Nautica Configuration Wizard Reference Guide

With IPX Routing enabled, you can also set Restricted SAP and
filters. Click on the option for which you require further
information.

Function:

Specifies how IPX works on this router.

Instructions:

The values here are as follows:

•

Enabled: Turns on the IPX stack.

•

Disabled: Turns off the IPX stack.

•

Restricted SAP: SAPs are advertisements for
services on the local network, like printers and file
servers. On large networks your router can become
clogged with constant SAP broadcasts. Restricted
SAP allows you to restrict the SAP broadcasts
received by your unit to only those from servers you
specify in the Advanced > IPX > SAPs menu (
