Nautica Configuration Wizard Reference Guide

Parameter:

ISDN Number

Default:

(Blank)

Options:

A valid ISDN number

Function:

This parameter consists of six fields. The ISDN
telephone number(s) of the remote router are entered
here.

When a call is placed on a path, the first number is
called. If this number is unavailable, the second number
is called, and so on. After each number has been called,
the process starts again with the first number. If a call
fails on all six numbers, three times, the path is
blacklisted for the amount of time set for

Timeouts

in the System Settings window (

Chapter 2

).

If you would like this path to run data over voice (North
America only), to take advantage of cheaper voice
tariffs, then precede the telephone number entered with a
'V' (must be in upper case).
