Configuring

3.5.1

Installing the display driver and switcher language compiler

After switching on E

OS

, log in as

administrator

. The operating system detects the new graphic cards. For each

graphic channel the

Found New Hardware Wizard

comes up to install the suitable graphics driver. This must be

done for every graphic channel and also for some additional hardware components.

Every time the Wizard has finished the installation of one channel, you will be prompted to
reboot. Nevertheless it is not necessary to reboot, so this can be ignored.

During processing this wizard the installation files of the display driver are required; therefore first check the
availability of the appropriate files. On the hard disk of E

OS

there are stored the files of the latest release of the

display driver suite:

c:\BARCO\Windows Drivers (OVS-2686)\Windows Drivers X.X

Whenever the installation of a different release is required, e.g. if the latest release of the Wall Management
Software A

POLLO

requires an earlier release of the display driver suite, the respective folder

Windows Drivers

X.Y

should be copied from CD

Control Room Suite CRS-3045-C

to the folder

c:\BARCO\Windows Drivers (OVS-2686)
