3. Getting started

Switching off

Always shut down the Windows operating system, before switching off your Eos.

Click the

Start

button on the taskbar and choose

Shut Down …

to display the

Shut down Windows

dialog box:

. After some seconds a message appears that you can switch off your computer

safely. Simply press the

power

button

on the front of E

If E

is switched off as explained above, not all parts are disconnected from the power

supply. To disconnect the whole device, if available the power switch on the back must be
switched off and all power plugs have to be pulled off after switching off.
