8b-3-5 Shift (6-Speed MT) Assembly

- Must be performed by a technician -

(1) removing and Installing the Shift (6-Speed MT) Assembly

To avoid electric shock, accidents or injuries to yourself or other people, or damage to the electronic
circuits, be sure to turn off the power switch before starting work.

Turn off the power switch. (See “7-6-1 Turning the power Switch On” on page 31.)

remove the gate cover. (See “8B-3-2 (8) removing and Installing the Control panel” on page
116.)

Remove the four Phillips hexagon socket head bolts (with flat and split washers) (M6 x 16), and
pull out the shift (6-speed MT) assembly

Disconnect the four connectors on the back side, and remove the shift (6-speed MT) assembly.

To install, perform the procedure in reverse.
