(3) replacing the IC Card vendor

To avoid electric shock, accidents or injuries to yourself or other people, or damage to the electronic
circuits, be sure to turn off the power switch before starting work.

Turn off the power switch. (See “7-6-1 Turning the power Switch On” on page 31.)

Use the supplied service key to open the service door. (See “7-5 Opening and Closing the Service
Door” on page 30.)

press and turn the knob lock 180° degrees counter-clockwise to unlock, and then slowly pull out
the IC card vendor. (See “7-10-1 Adding BANApASSpOrT Cards” in

on page 69.)

remove any cards inside the IC card vendor. (See “7-10-1 Adding BANApASSpOrT Cards” on
page 69.)

Remove the two Phillips pan head screws (with flat and split washers) (M4 x 8), disconnect the
connector, pull out the IC card vendor toward you, and replace it.
