(11) replacing the Environment Sensor

To avoid electric shock, accidents or injuries to yourself or other people, or damage to the electronic
circuits, be sure to turn off the power switch before starting work.

pC boards are sensitive to static electricity. If a person handles a pC board while
charged with static electricity, the parts on the pC board may be damaged. before
handling a pC board, discharge the static electricity from your body; for example, by
touching the surface of grounded metal.

Turn off the power switch. (See “7-6-1 Turning the power Switch On” on page 31.)

remove the control panel. (See “8B-3-2 (8) removing and Installing the Control panel” on page
116.)

Disconnect the connector.

remove the two phillips pan head screws (with split washer) (M2 x 4), and replace the environment
sensor.
