Disconnect the four connectors, and remove the steering assembly.

Steering assembly

Connector

The analog interface is easily damaged, so be careful not to bump the analog inter-
face when removing the steering assembly.

To install, perform the procedure in reverse.

After replacement, be sure to check the steering operation. (See “7-9 Adjustments

after parts replacement (GO TO I/F INITIAlIZE)” on page 68.)
