(2)  replacing the photosensor

To avoid electric shock, accidents or injuries to yourself or other people, or damage to the electronic 
circuits, be sure to turn off the power switch before starting work.

Turn off the power switch. (See “7-6-1 Turning the power Switch On” on page 31.)

remove the shift (6-speed MT) assembly. (See “8B-3-5 (1) removing and Installing the Shift 
(6-Speed MT) Assembly” on page 139.)

3 

Disconnect the connector of the photosensor to be replaced.

4 

remove the phillips pan head screw (M3 x 6), and replace the photosensor.
