F) Disconnect the electrical

plug prior to any maintenance.

G) This appliance can be used

by children aged from 8 years

and above and persons with

reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge

if they have been given

supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance

in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved. Children shall

not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance

shall not be made by children w

thout supervision.

H) Young children should be

supervised to ensure they do

not play with the appliance.

I) There shall be adequate ven-

tilation of the room when the

rangehood is used at the same

time as appliances burning gas

or other fuels.

L) There is a risk of fire if clean-

ing is not carried out in accord-

ance with the instructions.

 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

• Assembly and electrical con-

nections must be carried out by

specialised personnel.

• Wear protective gloves before

proceeding with the installa-

tion.

•   Electric  Connection:

Note! Verify the data label placed inside the appliance:

Insulation class I

This is a class I, appliance and must therefore be

connected to an effiecient earthing system.

- The appliance must be connected to the electricity

supply as follows:

BROWN =

L

 line

BLUE =

N

 neutral

YELLOW/GREEN

=   earth.

The neutral wire must be connected to the terminal

with the

symbol while the

YELLOW/GREEN

, wire

must be connected to the terminal by the earth

symbol  .

When connecting the appliance to the electricity

supply, make sure that the mains socket has an earth

connection. After fitting the ducted cooker hood, make

sure that the electrical plug is in a position where it

can be accessed easily. If the appliance is connected

directly to the electricity supply, an omnipolar switch

with a minimum contact opening of 3 mm must be

placed in between the two; its size must be suitable

for the load required and it must comply with current

legislation.

•

If the hob is electric, gas, or induction, the minimum

distance between the same and the lower part of the

hood must be at least

100 cm

. If a connection tube

composed of two parts is used, the upper part must

be placed outside the lower part. Do not connect

the cooker hood exhaust to the same conductor

used to circulate hot air or for evacuating fumes

from other appliances generated by other than an

electrical source. Before proceeding with the assembly

operations, remove the anti-grease filter(s) (Fig.11) so

that the unit is easier to handle.

-  In the case of assembly of the appliance in the suction

version prepare the hole for evacuation of the air.

•

We recommend the use of an air exhaust tube which

has the same diameter as the air exhaust outlet hole.

If a pipe with a smaller diameter is used, the efficiency

of the product may be reduced and its operation may

become noisier.

• EXTRACTOR VERSION

When installed in this way the appliance expels fumes

outside, either through a perimeter wall or through

existing ducting.

It is therefore necessary to purchase a non-flammable

air exhaust tube (not supplied) which complies with all

current legislation and connect it to flange

N

 (Fig.6).

• FILTER VERSION

To transform an extractor hood version into a filter

hood version, contact your appliance dealer and ask for

active carbon filters. Provide an outlet path for filtered

air in the room (Fig.13).

•   Ceiling  installation:

- Establish the direction of the air outlet to prepare the

electrical connection and air evacuation.

- Make the hole in the ceiling to accommodate the

device taking into account the dimensions shown in

Figure 1.

ATTENTION: Make sure that the ceiling structure

supports the unit's weight. If not, prepare a suitable

frame to fulfil such function.

- Separate the motor box and the electronic box from

the body of the appliance (Fig.2).

- Fix the safety chains

S

 as shown in figure 3.

- Insert the metal frame

I

in the hole and fix with the

screws

(Fig.4).

- Position the motor box on the frame

I

 making sure

to respect the designated flaps (Fig.5A) then insert the

safety chains

S

into the holes of the box and fix them

inside (Fig.5B).

- Connect the air evacuation pipe by means of the

flange

N

 (Fig.6).

- Lift the body of the hood and insert it into the hole

until the springs

M

 pass completely and tighten the

hexagonal screws

E

 (Fig.7).

- If necessary, adjust the length of the safety chains
