The Front Panel Indicators
The front panel indicators show the status of the StorPoint HD. The
indicators have the following functions:
• Status – Flashes during start-up. When the StorPoint HD is ready
for use, this light goes out. The LED should remain unlit, unless
an error condition occurs.
• Disk – Will be lit when a readable Jaz disk is inserted into any
connected drive. The LED will be either lit or unlit, unless an
error condition occurs when the LED will flash.
• Network – Flashes to indicate the presence of network traffic.
• Power – Indicates that power is connected to the StorPoint HD.
This LED should remain lit and is only used to indicate power is
present in the StorPoint unit.
Normal Conditions The power LED is controlled by hardware and is always lit when
power is connected.
* The Network LED will flash when there is network traffic.
