VolumeLabel
is the volume label (cannot be changed).
VolumeAlias
is the name displayed in the jaz folder representing the
Jaz disk. The VolumeAlias will also be used as the SMB share name.
By editing the entry, you can select a name that makes sense to the
users of the Jaz disk. The name must be a unique and valid volume
name.
In SMB the share name must not exceed 12 characters - if this is
insufficient to give a meaningful name you should use the comment
parameter to give more information to the users.
Comment
is text that can be entered, which can be seen in Windows
Explorer when the user is selecting Jaz disks. The comment will also be
seen in the Web browser.
UserLimit
is the maximum number of simultaneous users of the Jaz
disk. If set to 0 any number of users may access the disk.
SessionTimeout
specifies how many seconds a user is considered to
be active after the last access to the disk. When the time has expired,
another user may access the disk and perhaps lock out the first user,
depending on the UserLimit setting. If the UserLimit is set to 0 i.e.
any number of users, no SessionTimeout can be set.
SMBPassword
used to protect the disk from unauthorized use.
Server
(Server folder)
The Server folder contains the access rights information for the entire
StorPoint HD system, that is, the StorPoint HD and all connected Jaz
drives. The information contained in this folder can be amended to
give other users configuration rights.
VolumeAlias
is the name displayed in the Jaz server directory
structure. The name cannot be changed.
Comment

seen in the Web browser.
