User’s Manual

  

Diagnostics

The diagnostic check will carry out tests on the StorPoint HD’s 
memory and the performance of the connected drives. 

Please read the following notes before using the diagnostic check:

Notes:

❏

Users access to the StorPoint HD will be interrupted during the 
diagnostic check.

❏

The diagnostic check is only available for the first hour after 
switch on or restart. Also you must restart the StorPoint HD 
before you can repeat the diagnostic check.

Carry out the diagnostics check as follows:

1.

Start the Web browser and enter the URL of the server’s 
diagnostic page, i.e. 

http://<Internet address>/config/html/diag.htm

2.

Make sure that a suitable Jaz disk is inserted into each of the drives 
whose performance is to be tested.
