System Alerts

The IFDs remain synched so that each shows the same set of
Warnings, Cautions and Advisories. Acknowledging a state on
one IFD, will “ack” it for all IFDs.

COOL FEATURE

Switch Tank Alert

An optional timer can be set up

to alert you at a fixed period (e.g. every 30 minutes)
to switch your fuel tanks. The alert comes in the
form of a cyan advisory message.

For Cirrus aircraft, if either the HIGH OIL PRESSURE or LOW
VOLTS warnings are active, they will also show up in fixed
locations in the data strip along the top of the MFD. They will be
permanently displayed in this position for the duration of the
event.

A full listing of the system Warnings, Cautions and Advisories is
presented in Appendix D.

CAS MESSAGE LAMPS

In 3-screen IFD configurations, the middle IFD will provide a full-
time display of all active warnings and cautions in the top left
corner of the display (cyan advisories are not displayed in that
list). This full-time display is meant to take the place of
annunciator lamp panels in those aircraft.

Not yet acknowledged CAS messages will be solid red or yellow
with black lettering and those messages that are acknowledged
will reverse the lighting. In the example below, the first three of
the active red warning messages have not yet been ack’ed.
