8.3.7  Power-off mode 

 

 

There are two different power-off modes available for the DNA 1. Firstly 
the 

normal

 power-off mode and secondly the 

Quick Start

 mode. 

 

The  factory  default  setup  is  the 

normal

  mode,  because  of  low  power 

consumption in stand-by (less than 1W). If you use normal power mode, 
you cannot switch on with the software Audionet RCP.   
With  the 

Quick  Start

  mode  selected,  the  network  interface  remains 

activated,  and  the  DNA 1  start  up  process  is  accelerated,  because  the 
network  interface  must  not  boot  up  first.  Furthermore  you  can  use 
software Audionet RCP to power on. If you select 

Quick Start

 mode 

the power consumption is increased. For further details please see section 

"10.6 - Specifications" on page 70
