Guide Cable Mount on Roof Guide

Guide Cable Mount on Roof Guide »2«
– To remove cover, remove bolt -2- for guide cable -3- on roof

guide »2« -1-.

– Loosen all tension cable threaded connections and tensioning

straps for securing cover.

– Remove cover retaining strips at rails.

– On angle bracket -1-, drill out rivet heads -arrows- for securing

the cover and drive out rivet shafts.

– Remove rear window securing screw -1-
– Tighten to 6 Nm when installing
– Loosen the screw on the upper release cable on the rear win‐

dow and detach the release cable.

– Disconnect window defroster wire at connection -arrow-.
