Annex I : Asycube platform use overview
Version: A2

Sequence:
a sequence is used to combine different vibrations and usually corresponds to a
scenario. A sequence contains 7 customizable actions. An action can be
none
(no action),
platform
vibration, output activation
and
stabilization
(a delay). An Asycube includes 26
different sequences (the 26
th
is the test sequence and is read-only). A sequence is always
executed within the context of one specific and selected vibration set.
10.2. HMI software
The HMI software allows the user to define the vibrations, the vibration sets and the
sequences, that the Asycube must implement. If the platform is correctly connected, the user
can start the HMI software and click on the connected platform.
The
tuning
tab allows the user to design the different vibrations and vibration sets:
•
The user can select a specific vibration set (#1).
•
Through this tab, the user can tune the platform vibrations (#2) & the hopper
vibrations (#3).
•
On the left panel, the user can select either a platform vibration or a hopper vibration
(#4).
•
The parameters of the selected vibration can be modified through the bottom right
panel (#5).
•
The selected vibration can be executed with the upright panel (#6).
•
Once the vibration designed, it can be flashed to the platform memory using the
dedicated button (#7).
