SharpStreamer™ Pro PCIE-7210 Installation and Use ( 6806800U29D)

5. Customizing partitions: A default partitioning scheme is displayed, You can choose to 

modify, if required. All partition sizes are based on GB.

6. Provide the path of the installable files location.

What is the installation files directory? [] 

/media/usbdrive/images

If booted from USB drive, then installable files are available in the 

/images

 directory. 

The script performs formatting, partitioning, and installation.

7. To set date/time, provide NTPSERVER details or set date/time manually.

After completion of installation, a message is displayed.

8. Reboot. Go to BIOS and perform the following settings.

a. Select 

UEFI

 mode.

b. Select the 

USB drive

 as the first bootable drive and select the installed disk as the first 

bootable drive.

c. Save and exit.

9. Login. For more information, refer to the section

iSCSI disk installation

The following are the steps you need to perform for iSCSI based disk installation.

1. Run the following command.

$ /opt/bladeservices/tools/flashrfsrc.sh

2. Select disk type for installation: enter 

iscsi

. 

Enter installation type (disk or iscsi) []

  

3. Enter iSCSI information. 

Provide initiator IQN, target IQN, target IP, target port and initiator interface name.
Disk is automatically selected based on user provided iSCSI information.

4. Provide TFTP server, use 

local

 if images are mounted or copied onto host machine.
