The following IP addresses are assigned by default to ETH3 and ETH4 interfaces.

pcie-mcpu-basenet

service generates the related ‘ifcfg-‘ scripts. These are generated on

every boot.

7.7.4

aCPU

Devices assigned to aCPU have the following naming convention.

e_s

<physical_slot_id>

<device_id>

For example,

e_s16d2f3

represents s16, device2, function3 is assigned to this aCPU.

For slot 16 VF/PF, IP addresses are fetched via DHCP from mCPU. Devices are identified via their
MAC address and assigned a fixed IP address using the following criteria, with the default
setting of gap =10 and offset = 100.
