7.2 Installation
This installation is applicable for both mCPU and aCPU.
Prerequisite
You need to upgrade Baseboard Firmware of the chassis. For more information, refer to section
MaxCore Firmware Upgrade on page 131 .
7.2.1 Installation Procedure
To install software either on an mCPU or an aCPU, perform the following steps:
1. Install Base OS distribution onto a disk and also install Kernel updates, if any. If they are
already installed, go to step 2.
2. Install PCIe Update. For more details, refer to the section PCIE Update on page 111 .
3. Upgrade the firmware. For more details, refer to the section Firmware Upgrade on page
112 .
For more information on Base OS distribution onto a disk, refer to the section Linux Distribution
on page 99 . Please check the release notes for the corresponding version information.
create_updated_iso.sh
