7.6.2.9 Get the assigned CPU of a device function
If you want to know if there is already a CPU assigned to a device function you can use the
method
get-assigned-cpu
. You have provide the address information of the device
function as shown below.
mccs_tool.py –method=get-assigned-cpu –func=<slot, device number,
func number>
Afterwards you will see the address of the CPU in form of slot, cpu number, root port, or an
error message, if the device function is unassigned.
7.6.2.10 Get and Set the PEX mode
The pex mode can be set to fabric or base mode with the commands
mccs_tool.py –
method=set-fabric-mode
and
mccs_tool.py –method=set-base-mode
respectively.
To get the actual PEX mode, use the command
mccs_tool.py –method=get-pex-mode
To return the PEX mode, use the command
mccs_tool.py –method=get-cfg-pex-
mode
The new PEX mode becomes active only after calling
apply-config
.
7.6.2.11 Get the Actual configuration
You can get the complete running configuration in XML using the command
mccs_tool.py
–method=get-actual-config
7.6.2.12 Get and Set the Chassis number
You can set a chassis number which will be used in the MAC addresses of the VFs. The chassis
number is a 16-bit integer value. Setting a chassis number does not have any impact on the
running system. It will be taken after a reboot of the mCPU.
To read the chassis number, use the method
get-chassis-num
To set the chassis number, use the method
set-chassis-num
. For example,
mccs_tool.py –method=set-chassis-num –num=<16bit value>
