Back rest
•
The back rest can be attached on both
hand rests.
•
Attach the back rest by pressing it down
on the hand rest
(A)

Remove the back rest by pulling it
upwards
(B). (See Fig. 1)
Before placing the resident in the
Alenti
:
•
Choose from which side of the bath the
Alenti
will be positioned.
•
If
Alenti
will be positioned on the left
side of the bath, place the back rest on the
left hand rest.
•
If
Alenti
will be positioned on the right
side of the bath, place the back rest on the
right hand rest.
Emergency Stop
If, for any reason
Alenti
does not respond to
the control buttons, you can stop lift move-
ment by pressing the battery release button
(A)
and pull it out.

Contact your local ArjoHuntleigh represent-
ative before using the
Alenti
again.
Automatic Safety Stop
To prevent getting pinches between
Alenti
and an object,
Alenti
is equipped with an
automatic safety stop feature.
Alenti
automatically stops when lowered on
a fixed object.
Emergency High/Low (2 steps)
If, for any reason,
Alenti
does not respond to
the control buttons, it is possible to raise or
lower
Alenti
by using the Emergency High/
Low.

Unplug the hand control.
(See Fig. 3)

Press a blunt, thin object (i.e. a pen) into
one of the holes in the panel.
(See Fig. 4)
•
Press it into the hole under the “up
arrow” in order to raise
Alenti.
•
Press it into the hole above the “down
arrow” in order to lower
Alenti.
Contact your local ArjoHuntleigh represent-
ative before using
Alenti
again.
Battery charger
Attach the battery charger to a suitable wall
and connect it to a wall socket.
(See Fig. 5)

CAUTION
Do not use an object with a sharp tip
when pressing into the holes, it can
damage the emergency High/Low.
NOTE
The emergency High/Low overrides
important safety functions such as the
automatic safety stop.
The emergency High/Low shall only be
used when both the control panel and
hand control are out of order.
NOTE
A continuous beeping sound is heard
during the emergency “up” and “down”
movement.
