Alenti
raises or lowers
after the hand control
button or the control
panel button is released.

Pull the battery out and remove the resident from
Alenti.

Remove the hand control and put the battery back. If the fail-
ure is gone, replace the hand control.

If the failure still occurs, contact qualified personnel.
Alenti
does not raise or
lower when the hand
control button or the
control panel button is
pressed.

Make sure the battery is connected correctly to
Alenti
.

Make sure the battery has sufficient charge, the battery
charger lamp located on
Alenti
turns green when the battery
is fully charged.

Make sure
Alenti
has not been lowered onto a fixed object.
If this occurs the automatic safety stop function will turn on.

Use the Emergency High/Low to remove resident from
Alenti.
Contact qualified personnel.
Alenti
functions only
operate with the use of
the control panel, not the
hand control.

Make sure that the hand control connection is properly con-
nected to the socket.

If the problem persists, replace the hand control.
Alenti
raises and stops
by itself.

Make sure that the safe working load of 182 kg (400lbs) is not
exceeded. The lowering function will still operate during this
scenario.
Alenti
is hard to
manoeuvre.

Make sure that the brakes are released.

Make sure that the castors roll and swivel freely. If not,
remove the resident from
Alenti
and contact qualified person-
nel.
If the brakes are not
functioning.

Make sure that
Alenti
is flat on a levelled surface
(floor surface must not exceed a slope ratio of 1:50).

If the brake alarm sounds, try moving the
Alenti
to a flat lev-
elled surface and re-apply brakes. If the alarm continues, con-
tact qualified personnel.
If the optional inte-
grated scale is not
operating.
