PROBLEM

ACTION

It is only possible to
lower the lift.

The lifting device of this equipment is equipped with a a safety
nut. If the safety nut will be activated it will only be possible to
lower the equipment into a safe position. In case of this scenario
stop using the equipment and contact authorized service person-
nel for repair of the equipment.

ALARM

ACTION

The

Alenti

has three different alarm signals which indicate different faults.

1. Low battery signal

If the raise button (up arrow) is pressed the alarm will sound for
up to 10 seconds at rate of one beep per second.

Recharge the battery.

If the alarm continues contact your local ArjoHuntleigh serv-
ice technician.

2. Brake fault

If any of the buttons are pressed the alarm will sound for up to
10 seconds at a rate of 4 beeps per second. The LED on the con-
trol panel and the hand control will also light up.

This alarm indicates a brake failure. Try moving

Alenti

to a

flat levelled surface and re-apply brakes.

If the alarm continues contact your local ArjoHuntleigh serv-
ice technician.

3. Circuit board fault

This alarm will continue to sound up to 5 seconds at a rate of 4
beeps per second, followed by a 30 second pause. The alarm can
only be stopped by removing the battery.

This alarm indicates a fault in the circuit board. If the alarm
starts while the resident is using the

Alenti

, complete the

immediate task such as bathing or transfer.
Then contact your local ArjoHuntleigh service technician.

NOTE

If the problem can not be solved with the written troubleshooting actions, please con-
tact an ArjoHuntleigh authorized service technician.
