Setting the occlusion limit
The Volumed® µVP7000 Chroma is fitted with a pressure monitoring. The pressure is
calculated through a measurement of the hardness of the tubing.
To set up the occlusion pressure limit during infusion, press SELECT. Choose the Occlusion
Limit:.
Figure 51: Menu to change occlusion pressure limit, actual rate: 100.0 ml/h
To enter the settings press SELECT key.
Figure 52: Window to change occlusion pressure limit (600 mbar), actual rate: 5.0 ml/h
The volume display begins flashing. To change the pressure limit press the DATA keys
manually. It is not necessary to confirm the changes. Changing the pressure limit can be
done while the pump is running or when it is stopped. The new pressure limit is valid until a
new infusion is started or until it is changed again.
NOTE:
Changing of the pressure limit will take effect immediately. If the auto pressure limit
was activated (limit adjusts to rate) changing the pressure limit will deactivate the auto
pressure limit for the current infusion. It will be reactivated after a power cycle.
