Entering the Infusion Parameter

To access the TCI modes, press SELECT key after loading the infusion set. By pressing the
DATA keys

scroll to the point „TCI“ and press SELECT to confirm. To choose between the

different drugs and/or models use the DATA keys.

By default the most common drug modes used for anaesthesia are saved inside the pump
together with common concentrations and algorithm: Propofol 1% (Marsh), Propofol 2%
(Marsh), Propofol (Marsh), Propofol (Schnider), Remifentanil (Minto).

By pressing the DATA keys the different drugs can be chosen, to confirm the drug mode
press SELECT.

The different infusion parameters are adjusted with the DATA keys.

NOTE:

Depending on the configuration of your pump some parameter windows might be

skipped to accelerate the setup of your pump. In some modes the entries are limted, e.g. the
Schnider and Minto models will only allow certain patient weight and height ratios. If the
entries do not comply with the limits, it’s not possible to start the pump. Refer to the
publications on these protocols for more detailed information (e.g. opentci.org).
To confirm a value, SELECT must be pressed. The display changes to show the next input
parameter. To change earlier settings, press ESC to go back . The parameters can be
changed and confirmed by pressing the SELECT.

When drugs without fix concentration are used, the concentration must be entered (e.g.
Propofol (Schnider)).
