Furthermore it is possible to run the pump in a high precision mode (“

High Def Mode

”), which

allows entering rate and volume in steps of 0.01 ml/h (0.01 ml). The High Def Mode is
activated by selecting a drug defined as high definition drug.

Rate Calculation Using Drug Concentration and Patient Weight

The automatic rate calculation allows nursing staff to deliver drugs that are applied in
dependence of drug concentration and patient weight (optional). The drugs have to be
previously loaded into the pumps drug library.

To run the pump in this mode SELECT is pressed after the infusion set was loaded. Press
the DATA

keys to scroll to the menu point „
