CFS116 Rear Panel Overview

The callouts for the controls and connectors located on the rear panel of the CFS116 are

identified in the table below.

Callout

Description

AC and DC Terminal Block

Cooling Fan Exhausts. Must be kept clear at all times.

Remote Output Connector DB9. Provides contact closure outputs for the

following power source conditions:

Test in Progress

PASS

•

FAIL

SYNC Output BNC. TTL Output signal that indicates output zero crossing when in

AC or PROGRAM mode. May be used to synchronize other test equipment.

Earth Ground Connector. Additional ground connection to AC line cord ground.

AC Input Line fuse holder. Model CFS116 requires 250V, 20A protective fuse.

Spare fuse included in ship kit. (See Section 5.3.2, “CFS116 Ship Kit Contents

”).

To change fuse, disconnect AC line cord first, then turn fuse holder counter

clockwise to open.

IEC320 Type AC Line Cord Mating Connector. These are 20A rated heavy duty line

cords.

USB/RS232 Interface Card. For models with LAN option, this location contains

USB and LAN connector Card instead.
