Using the 2300-580-R Software with VectorStar ME7838D4

3-7 Low-Band Calibration – Port 1/Port 2

3659 0.8 mm Cal/Ver Kit & 2300-580-R PVS UG

3-21

The VNA measures the open/short device data, then the

VNA Calibration: Step 4 of 5

dialog box appears.

Connect the Male Short #1 (1.20 mm) to VNA Port 1.

Connect the Female Open to VNA Port 2.

When ready to proceed, click

The VNA measures the short/open device data, then the

VNA Calibration: Step 5 of 5

dialog box appears.

Remove the Short and the Open from Port 1 and Port 2, respectively.

Slide the two T-R modules towards each other and connect the VNA Port 1 (Female) to VNA Port 2
(Male) directly.

When ready to proceed, click
