Malfunction

Remedy

Instrument fan error



Ensure that the exhaust airflow rate (generator)

corresponds to the values listed in the operating manual.
Make the necessary adjustment as required.



Turn off the instrument and restart it again. If the problem

persists, please contact the SPECTRO Service
Department.

Safety circuit error

A plasma start safety circuit error has been activated.



Open and close all doors and turn the instrument off and

restart it again. If the problem persists, please contact the
SPECTRO Service Department.

Internal SSG fan error



Ensure that the exhaust airflow rate (generator)

corresponds to the values listed in the operating manual.
Make the necessary adjustment as required.



Turn off the instrument and restart it again. If the problem

persists, please contact the SPECTRO Service
Department.

Internal LPF fan error

The fan of the low-pass filter does not work properly.



Ensure that the exhaust airflow rate of the plasma torch

box corresponds to the values listed in the operating
manual. Make the necessary adjustment as required. If
the problem persists, please contact the SPECTRO
Service Department.

Display error of an
internal client

The generator could not establish communication with the gas
control unit.



Turn off the instrument and restart it again. If the problem

persists, please contact the SPECTRO Service
Department.

Internal power supply
failure

Turn off the instrument and restart it again. If the problem
persists, please contact the SPECTRO Service Department.

The MultiView blind plug
has been disconnected

Check the blind plug and the blind plug’s cable for proper fit.
